Windsor Local History Group was founded in 1976 as Windsor Local History Publications Group. It was started by a small group of WEA students and tutors with the aim of fostering research in the field of local history and publishing the results. The name was changed in 2004.
Waitrose Token Scheme
SHOP AT WAITROSE WINDSOR IN JULY
The Windsor Museum Appeal will be one of the charities supported by Waitrose during July 2009.
Please shop in Waitrose Windsor during July and pick up a green token at the cash desk.
Put it in the Museum’s box. There will be two other charities collecting tokens, so make sure that you choose the right one.
The more tokens in our box the more money we will get.
