- The first Sea Cadet unit was formed in Windsor
- Sea Rangers had a very active company in the town
- The history of the Eton Excelsior Rowing Club is traced from its small beginnings to the recent expansion prompted by the success of our Olympic rowers.
- Windsor Swimming Club originally used the river for its meetings, practice and competitions.
- Wells and waterworks are covered
- There is a very detailed article about the fountain that adorned the Castle Courtyard in Tudor times.
